It is with deep regret that we announce that Neil Stuart Lawson was killed on the 9th of August 2005 in a tragic and unfortunate gliding accident. MUS0053 – Britain’s youngest, (and first Club Class) Gliding World Champion, Pete Masson, ‘on the deck’ - across the line at VNE in his DG101 – EKP. Pete flew EKP to victory in the Club Worlds at Gawler, South Australia 2002. After a close fought battle right up to the final day, Pete gained a creditable 8th place. |
